SOMMET has facilities with a total capacity of 15,500 m3. This includes 11 cold chambers offering 3 different types of cold storage. 9 of those have a capacity of 2,000 tons of fresh produce.

    Those facilities are monitored constantly round the clock and are accessible at all times. They are suitable for storing fresh fruit and veg, and high levels of relative humidity of up to 97% RH can be achieved thanks to the intermediate cooling medium (glycol) that is used.

    Hoisting devices with state-of-the-art telescopic systems are used to effectively transport and distribute stored products within the facilities.
